OUR WHY
SIX:EIGHT Outdoors was started because of a personal conviction. A conviction to pass something meaningful on to our children. Some of the best memories we have aren’t from big accomplishments or loud celebrations – they’re from the quiet mornings in the woods; from watching the world wake up from a tree stand. Growing up, hunting wasn’t just a hobby – it was a tradition. It was where life lessons were shared, where character was built, and where a respect for the land was taught.

Originally from Shuqualak, Mississippi, Ziggy was raised to be rooted in his Christian faith, and to have a strong work ethic. Ziggy brings 13 years of experience as a Licensed & Certified Athletic Trainer (LAT, ATC) working in the NCAA Division I, JUCO, and High School athletic levels.
He is married to the former Laura Trenor of West Poi

He is married to the former Laura Trenor of West Point, Mississippi and the two have one son, JW Marro (Age 4). Ziggy enjoys spending time with his family and their family dog, Gunner.
Ziggy is an avid outdoorsman and growing up hunting in Noxubee County with his dad, grandfather, and uncle helped shaped his love hunting, the outdoors, and conservation.
If you can’t find Ziggy at work or in a tree, you can usually find him watching his Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Will brings 13 years of valuable experience as a Licensed & Certified Athletic Trainer (LAT, ATC), having worked at the NCAA Division II and JUCO collegiate ranks. Originally from Carthage, Mississippi, where his parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a passion for the outdoors.

Will is married to the former Adrian Dill from Clarksdale, Mississippi, and the two have one son, Joseph (Age 2) and enjoy spending time with their family dog, Gatsby.
Rooted in faith, family, and the outdoors, Will is an avid outdoorsman and when he’s not in a deer stand or at work, you will likely find him cheering on his Ole Miss Rebels.

Lyle brings a plethora of knowledge from the world of small business having run a Hot-Shot Hauling & Logging businesses. He is a proven small business owner with the work ethic not many individuals can match. Lyle is a Christian man, an accomplished team roper, and an avid outdoorsman. Lyle is rooted in his faith, his family, and the rod

He is a proven small business owner with the work ethic not many individuals can match. Lyle is a Christian man, an accomplished team roper, and an avid outdoorsman. Lyle is rooted in his faith, his family, and the rodeo lifestyle.
Lyle is from Wahalak, Mississippi and is married to the former Montana Rhodes of Columbus, Mississippi. The two enjoy spending time with family, managing their farm and horses, and being in a duck hole.
Lyle and Montana are expecting their first child this summer in July 2026!
From the beginning, we believed the outdoors are one of the last true places where values are passed down. Born from early mornings in the woods, time spent with family, and a calling rooted in Isaiah 6:8. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? SIX:EIGHT Outdoors exists to protect and preserve the traditions that shaped us. What started as a personal conviction has grown into a brand built for people who believe the outdoors are about far more than the pursuit – they’re about purpose.
At SIX:EIGHT Outdoors, we believe the greatest legacy any person can leave is the time, values, and truth they pass on to others. For us, legacy is built in the outdoors. It’s built in the early mornings when the world is quiet and the lessons are loud. It’s built in faith, family, and tradition.
Inspired by Isaiah 6:8, our brand aims to keep the outdoor heritage alive. We will strive to do that by creating apparel, community, and content to celebrate the bond between people, generations, and the values that make the outdoors a place worth protecting.
